Better, Calmini

Easier, Rocky Road

Even though I'm having some issues with mine currently, get the Calmini kit... The new control arms make it worth it, IMO.

Bah. No need for the control arms.  Sorry about the search thing man :P. It just seems to be a catching thing around here. heres a reveiw of the Emu kitt. It's realy worth the read.http://www.off-road.com/suzuki/reviews/rromex90.htmMy reason for not buying the calmini kitt is, If i happen to bust up ont of those pretty control arms i dont want to have to buy a new one. You can get stock tracker arms dirt cheap, same with the rear link's.

Have you ever seen one of the Calmini A-arms? I doubt anyone's gonna ever break one while properly installed... I mean look at what Hagen does with his rig :o ;D It's honestly my favorite part of the kit.

I see what Mike does. My thought is, If i hit somthing hard enuff that the stock arm is going to give on and it's not there to give :-/. Im not into busting up frame's.

But you mentioned breaking the control arm in the previous post... :P

Yeah, there've been cases of the frame bending around the arm posted here before ;D

My vehicle is mostly street...I hummed and hawed for a long time over the Calmini 2", Calmini 3" and the RRO 2.5"...I eventually settled on the RRO kit and so far I am very happy with it. The on road ride is firm with very little body lean, but still absorbs the bumps fairly well...sharp bumps will still jar your teeth though if the tires are up around the 30# mark ;). I can't say much about its off-road performance as I've done very little wheeling since the kit was intalled...without the body lift I do still get a slight bit of rubbing with my BFG 235/75/15s.  Also, you will have to get camber correction bolts if you get the RRO kit...but those are cheap.

If I were to build up a Track/Kick more oriented for off-road I likely would go for the Calmini 3+3...even better would be the elusive Calmini SAS or RRO Rockfather SAS.

Mr Calmini thinkt hat you wont break the control arms ,

I have heard people breaking stock ones a fair bit but not Calmini.

I run the calmini setup pushed to its limits and all seems well fingers crossed and touching wood :-)
