So my alt. took a big dump on its self first the bolt that holds the adjustment bar broke drill ans tapped that then the alt went out. I have switched to the delco 12 si alt. But not I cant move the alt any because my belt is so damn tight. Do I need another belt other then just the stock samuria belt?

no.  did you also buy the bracket for that alt.  i put it on my rig with a new belt and have about an inch and a half of adjustment.

take the old belt in with you and get the next size bigger.
i went to my buddy at napa he gave me 5 different belts and i returned
the ones i didn't need.  payed for the one that fit best and bought a spare.

i would definatly recomend beefing up the wiring from your alternator to the battery. if you were to strip back the loom/tape from your alternator to the firewall you would understand. its not pretty. the 10 guage w/y wire is way too small to be safe.

id recomend ditching the white wire by cutting it off where it splices into the battery feed and replace it with a battery cable with a fuse pod for car audio systems (40 amp fuse works well). youll notice that the alternator will last longer and all your lights will be brighter. they sell battery cables that fit the 1/4" stud on the alternator. if you build your own with the brass ends pick up some dielectric grease (spark plug boot poo) and fill the opening on the brass end with it before crimping the wire in it then cover it with heavy duty heat shring to seal it. it will keep it from coroding for a long long time.
