I was thinking of doing a high flow cat, a magna flow muffler and 2 inch or 2 1/4 inch pipe. But if that's going to cost me my get up and go, Idk. I'm also not sure if the high flow cat they have is a good one.

Here's the game plan though. I was going to buy which ever header I decide on and take it to the muffler shop. Have them order what ever muffler and cat I decide on (they have to see how big a muffler will fit)  and bring it by when they have the parts. Then let them put it all on at once since they  have to mate the exhaust pipe to the header.

I want to make sure I have a way to get it out of the way for transmission replacement too.

My cat's still good (Or hollow ??? :police: ) but the muffler was shot so I jury rigged another one on. It's not isoated from the tub because I had to make it fit. It's quieter but vibrates. A full cat sells pretty good for scrap.

I may end up cashing my vacation for the job but I don't care. It'll be worth it.

I know that the hawk header is made in either Oregon or Washington.  I had a "chrome" one for my 16V, but was not satisfied with the finish.  Somehow the chrome had not covered a lot of the tubes, which seems weird.  All i can figure is that they weren't cleaned properly.  It pissed me off enough that i tried to return them, but they wanted to charge a 20% restock fee, so i sold them on ebay for a loss of $20.  Hawk said "You should have spent the extra money on the ceramic coated header instead".

If i had to buy again, i'd just buy the doug thorley.
