I do I get nore power from my 4cylinder.  I don't have a lot of money, because I am raising three kids, so the cheap stuff first.  This is my daily driver with some light offroad use, just getting me to my kayak fishing spots.  I just want some engine mods and little tweaks that will help me get a little more pep from my engine.

I have a K&N air filter installed and plan on replacing stock muffler with a glasspack as soon as i get it out of the shop for my transmission repair.

a header is a good start

Yes, a header and a full 2in exhaust with a glass pack makes a world of difference.  Sounds cool too.

No, the stock plugs have enough spark to ignite the fuel.

Is it an auto? If so you could always put 5:12's (ring and pinion) in the diffs.... I have a set to let go at a fair price... won't so much add power, but it will help turn those tires easier... What do ythe rest of you think? regear, good idea or bad on  a stocker?
