Installed my header
« on: October 31, 2004, 12:54:19 PM »
I got my Calmini header installed today. I was going to attach it to my original cat, but due to the way the original down pipe/cat setup was on my Tracker, I had to bypass it :-/  Anyways, driving it was interesting. I seem to have a little more power. Not a ton, but noticable. One thing that stands out now is smoothness. For some reason, the trucklet seems to accelerate and shift smoother than before. Anyone else notice this when they added a header?
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

My 16valve runs smoother too. I mostly notice how sweet the exhaust sounds. Thats reason enough for for purchasing it!  :P

Yep noticed right away that I had more power and a wider power band...and as Mike H said, the sound is great....you'll want to do some laps in an underground parkade, its fun tromping on the gas and setting off car alarms  ;D
