Hi:
The new SPOA front axle perch spring faces are supposed to be
exactly parallel to the faces of the OEM perches. If you plan to drive this truck on the road, it HAS to be this way. Changing the pinion angle like that will seriously mess up the caster angle and make the truck hard to handle on the road.
Also, unless I am mistaken, the passenger side front perch is specially cut to fit on the sloping edge of the dif housing so it will line up position-wise with the OEM perch. That's the way it was for my Breeze SPOA.

BTW: Didn't the perches come with installation instructions?
