Why would you want to?

The fuel injection system was one of the main selling points when I had the swap done. I like carburetors for simplicity but, I haven't had one problem with system in over 2 1/2 years and the motor had 70K on it when I put it in.

I think it may be a simple project that ends up costing some coin. The spendy part is having an adaptor made to mate a carb to the FI head. After that you will not need to worry about a computer as you can remove all the computer controlled BS.

And has been stated, why? TT's rebuilt wire loom will be cheaper than having a adaptor custom made. And the FI will run better than a carb at odd angles.

I think you'll like the FI better But if got a good deal on a 16v motor without the injection you could try it, Naaaaaaa I'd find the FI stuff  :)

looks really sharp, and i'm gonna be paying 370.00 for weber carb, plus another 74.00 for jet kit, so total of 444.00 plus tax and shipping, close to 500.00+ but my question is, with a weber, you'll eliminate the tons of crappy vacuum hoses and gain about 12% more horse, and get better mpg. what about this set up? so what, u can run upside down, well who drives that way? would it compare to the power increase of a weber? i'm installing a 1.6 8V into my sammy, with a weber carb, thorley tri y header, and 4.9-1 t-case gears.....  would i be better off with this set up? cause if so, i'd order it right away, if any one has any experience with this kinda set up, pls post responses, and let us all know what is better...  weber, or wild bore side draft systems....  cause i always want better...
with the weber, i know i will hold 75-80mph with header and gears... what about the wild bore?   pls any info is appreciated....

Sidedrafts are the closest a carb can come to FI and they still have problems.

I did not get around to the sidedrafts for my rig and now I am glad I did not spend the $$ on them. As I am now planning on putting a 16v in my Sami it is money saved.

And I believe it will run better in the long run.

I have to concur. I had a weber on my old motor but, I was never really happy with it. The FI is awesome and I don't regret it for a moment.
