samurai running funny
« on: March 03, 2008, 04:29:59 PM »
so i took the sammy out suday and its starting to run a little ruff...its has a electric low pressure fuel pump and i think the psi might be set to high or somthing like that...when im aboove 3500 its runs fine but if im putting around 1500-2000rpms for a minute or so it becomes very rich and sometimes dies, i turn the fuel pump off(got it on a switch)and crank it for about 10sec and it slowly starts and is really loaded up(and smells like gas)....then it started to only run with no throttle or full throttle, any one got any help?

I know the situation is much diff as I have a 1.6 16 valve with efi but that's exactly how mine was running I tried a new maf sensor, o2 sensor, tps, fuel press reg, then took it inand found out it was timing  :-[
