Hey guys, Not sure if this the the right place to post or not, but i just got me a 1995 Geo Tracker, 2x4,auto,1.6L. I also have a 2006 Chevy Cobalt ss supercharged. Im wanting to change over to 4x4 on the Geo, can somebody help me out. I know theres a old thread about it, but i am trying to see if somebody else has done the switch and can kinda give me a idea of what part and stuff ill need to do it.

           Thanks, Don

You'll need 4x4 hubs, cv shafts, the entire front diff assembly, front drive shaft, tranfer case and probably transmission. almost everything is a bolt-in, but you'll need to add a bracket to the frame on the driver's side to hold up the driver's side end of the diff housing. The center mount and right frame bracket are already there. Being that your tracker is an auto, you'll want the diff from an auto tracker so the r&p gears match your rear axle. The whole swap shouldn't be too difficult for you, the most difficult part probably being the addition of the bracket... The best place to find the missing bracket would probably be to cut it from the frame of the tracker you're getting the 4x4 parts from...
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...
