My Embarrassment
« on: June 09, 2005, 03:21:54 PM »
Okay, you all might appreciate this.  I had to drive my 90 Tracker to work the other day and one of the directors of a department approached me to state that my little Tracker was a complete embarrassment! (no joke).  wow, that took balls.    Yeah, it may be dented, scratched, and have rock rash on all four corners, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.....plus it has air conditioning ;D  People like that probably buy jeeps for us to rescue!  Have a good one all and keep on wheeling.

no people like that buy a Hummer 2 and never take it off road and swear it could go anywhere and not ever get stuck. bucause they don't understand its not the size that matters its how u use it. oh did i mension if he gets his $50,000 "tahoe" i mean hummer2 dirty he would have a breakdown right there. he probly doesn't even know what offroading is, to him it is a sticker on the side of the truck. people like that give us all a reason to kick someones ass and not stop to help them when they have a flat tire because they refer to a tire tool as that little twisty thing. well if he is ur boss that sucks if not take his valve stems so he can call AAA and put his membership to good use. Oh have a good laugh. sorry u work with a jerk to by the way. i guess u could just smile and go on with life knowing ur a better man. i like the valve stem idea though.

What a dick. You should approach him he next time you see him in the lot and tell him that he is an embarrisment to the entire education system. Any one as ignorant and judgemental as his ass is an embarisment to any one around them.

people like that i just dont even bother about. it just goes to show how much they really know. i just turn my ears off, and they disappear.

people like that give us more reason to continue to build our machines the way we are.

i cant really think of an exact way to describe those type of people. well, i guess its not even worth trying to describe them.

well, i think those people are the ones that buy this kind of stuff:

That sucks my boss thinks my rig is really cool. He loves to see it parked in the parking lot all dirty.
and I work as a computer geek so the rest of the cars in the lot are more expensive.
I have to agree I wouldn't trade it for anything.

My approach would be more subtle... I would continue to drive the Tracker to work, making sure to have it good and muddy every time, and I would park it right next to HIS car every time! And I might even open my door a little hard and if the mud was nice and fresh/wet, I would grab a handful and splat it right in the middle of his windsheild! LOL!!!
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

aww just park it so that the passenger side is just close enough so that he has to brush up against it in his suit.

I love doing that to the exec at work who can't figure out that his Land Rover does not belong in two parking spots.
course when he does this I'm guaranteed a parking spot since the Sammy is the only thing that will fit next to him.

Ah, I love parking next to those people who take up two spots.  The tracker is small enough to fit and I really don't care if he opens the door to his caddy and hits my door.  Of course, I'm sure it scares the hell out him seeing that my car is sooo close ;D  I think your right, I should just drive it there everyday and really screw with him.  Of course, I like the idea of taking out the valve stems....then I could sell him some on-board air...$10 per psi 8)  Anyway, what it all comes down to is that some people are really ignorant and don't realize a wolf in sheeps clothing.  Then again, that could be a good thing, I really don't worry about people stealing the car.

You've said it all ;D

Another thing to do is: put a small stone inside his valve caps and put it back on tight. This way the stone will push on the pin and slowly deflate his tires ;D by the time he gets a flat you'll be far away from the crime scene :P

Supergluing a BB into the valve cap also works, and they might or might not realize its there so tire goes flat they fill it up, and it goes flat again. Not that I would ever do anything like that..

hmmm, dont get me wrong now, but i cant see how this certain person who we refer to, can have enough brains to pump a flat tyre up, or ever know what a valve is, let alone change a wheel.

anyway, i would think BMW, or MERCEDES would have a 24hour roadside pick up and deliver service for their customers.

anyway, its always funny when you hang around just to see what their expressions were when they see their flat tyre.

i've once seen a lady driving a pick up with a flat rear tyre. she pulls over to the side of the road, and doesn't get out. 5 mins later, she starts to drive off again, totally unaware she has a flat tyre. turns out she got a phone call, and pulled over to answer it.

there are many people in the world like this. just never ceases to amaze me.

If i drive the sub to work people wont park next to it.  the tracker is stock, and people wonder why i drive it to work and never wash it, i told my boss its a crime to wash a 4x4. now the ricer always shines,"but its getting dusty sitting in the driveway".

but these are the people that dont understand eating a hamburger for breakfest? thats normal
