Aisin manual hub, oil soaked and not working
« on: April 09, 2008, 08:04:57 PM »
Does anyone  know where I can obtain a complete inner hub assembly as was stock on a 1988 Sammy. Also, the inner hub and bearing area was loaded with gear oil and I havent got it figured out how that happened.  The hub showed some corrosion that probably occured before the oil arrived.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gen-Erix,
Manual hubs are the ones you turn the dial on as opposed to automatic hubs.

Also, thanks for the replies.  I decided to find a used hub/inner hub.  One will turn up sooner or later.  I decided to do all the seals and gaskets while I have the oppurtunity.

88 Samurai 1" Shackles SPOA with 32" Tires
It's not a Jeep thing, it's not a Suzuki thing, or a Chevy,Ford thing.
It's a wheeling thing now get out and do it!
