Ok does anyone know if there is a kit to make toyota pickup axles spring under?
These are going on my race rig and I would much prefer the lower center of gravity.

oh and as of this moment I could not find anything on Google.

I wonder if you could use a normal SPOA kit and just mount it upside down...

I'm sure that would work pretty much the same.

Just make a piece like this and mount it on the lower spring perch on the Toyota axle.
Then just buy a new perch for the other side and weld it on.

The one of the left is for the spring perch and the one on the right is the U bolt plate.

Ok new question what have you guys done to reverse the steering on these axles???

I'm not to sure what you mean by reverse the steering?

Are you talking about the stock Toyota J-arm steering?
If so high steer will fix that little problem.

Yes, but I don't have the 300 -400 to buy this upgrade and I was wondering if people have fabbed up their own solutions to this.

There is a way to make old steering arms into a home made hi steer.
If you are familiar with pirate4x4.com at all, there should be some write ups on it.  Most of the people that are running it are using it on there trail rigs.  Its not the most trusted set up for street use.
I'm not sure what your going to be using this rig for, but if its going to be for any kind of on road use i would highly recommend investing in a high steering kit.  Steering is the last thing that you would want to go out while your grabbin' gears on down the road.

But Ill keep my eyes open for write ups on it.

It's going to be an off road race rig. So dirt racing, barrels and what not. NO STREET USE AT ALL
