engine differences?
« on: May 20, 2008, 06:54:47 PM »
from what I gather the 797cc and 1.0 are almost identical, what about the 1.3 and 1.6?

just asking as I saw a small lj80 with a 1.0 conbversion, and I'm wondering why not a 1.3 or 1.6.  should fit, no?  needs a body lift for the 1.6 I'm sure

The 1.0 and 800 have pretty much the same block and hence are interchangable. The 1.3/1.6 is a bigger block and neither mate up to the 80/410 gearbox. It is possible to fit either but a 413/Sammy gearbox is needed and mounts have to be fabbed.
