Suzuki V-8

Maybe one of these motors will make it into  production some day? How about a 3.0ltr Vitara. Listen to the sound clips of the engine running...really rips!!

I don't know about gobs of torque. The site said it made 325hp and 190tq or something close to that. Kinda little torque for such big Hp. Ain't it?

small torque * high rpm = big power.
There have been a few engines made like this I remember one built with the original 1000cc Yamaha 5 valver. They are designed for lightweight race cars, over here they are usually used in hillclimbers. The light weight means that they don't need much torque. As an aside theres a guy lives not far from me who has built V engines out of bike engines as a hobby for a few years. Started with a 50cc Honda engine that became a 100cc v twin, then did a 750cc Kawasaki as a V8 then did a 1300 Kawasaki as a 2.6L V12
2000 Vitara 1.6, 3+3 Lift, 33"MTs, 5:83s, LWB brakes, Winch, Snorkel, Safari Rack
1986 SJ413K PickUp, 1.6L conversion.

This is the 1500 V8 and the 100cc v-twin, the 100 is a modified SS50 all done up like a 60s racer. The engineering is fantastic and this one is really sweet   :). It off topic but its worth a look.
