I have a set of 31x1050x15 BFG AT tires that I would like to mount on my '94 2dr Tracker. They will be mounted on 15x8 rims with 3.75 backspacing. Has anyone attempted to clear a set of 31's with 1.5" front and 2" rear coil spacers? My concern is the fenders of course. I really do not want to have to cut them. I really want to purchase a Calmini 3" suspension lift but I don't have the cash at this time. By the way, my Tracker will not be going offroad very much.

1.5 inch in the front, with a srtut mount flip, and 2 inch in the rear should be perfect for 31x10.5. That is what I run with no problems

are you going to lift the body also?
i tried 31's on 8" rims, but went with 7" instead. less rub.
even so i had to trim the rear/outside of the front wells, and beat in the insides some to stop the rubbing.

I have 31x10.50 tires on 15x7 rims with 3.75" backspacing. I have a 1.5" coil spring spacer lift (1.5" rear, 1" front) and a 2" body lift. The tires are a VERY tight fit when fully flexed out off road. I needed to pound the insides of my fenders in quite a bit (think 5 pound sledge) and I also needed to trim the outside fender back about 3". If I had to do it again I'd rather do a 3" suspension lift and no body lift, just to get the framerails off the ground a little more, but I can make do with what I have for now.

same here.  31x10.5x15 tsl on 15x8 with that spacer setup.  You will have to cut and beat back the rear of the front fender and I had to do some triming of front bumper mounts as I recall.  Rears were fine.  I went out to show off to my buddy and went in a ditch and the rear tire stuffed into the well locking it, other rear in the air spinning, front passenger barely touching ground but driverside touching.  Boy did I look silly caught in this little ditch after all my hard work.  That was embarrasing and unfortunately I couldn't put a body lift on cause the bodymounts were bad so my choices were more suspension lift or smaller tires.  I comprimised and got a samurai with less rust.   ;D  I think if you could make the bumpstops work so that the tire didn't rub at full stuff it would be ok.

Finding out your rig is not as capable as you hoped before getting stuck on a public trail... Priceless

Yeah I forgot to mention that my 31x10.5 bfg's are mounted on the stock 5" rim. Narrows the tire down so I have just a minor rub only on the frame. No fender bending.

Thanks Guys. I guess I need to save my money and go with the 3" suspension lift. I'm not too crazy about body lifts anyway. If needed I'll go with the suspension and coil spacers. It's great to have some expierenced individuals to call upon. Thanks again.
