1.3 to 1.6 power difference?
« on: June 22, 2008, 12:35:57 PM »
Hey Guys!

Just finshed a complete rebuild on my 1.6 Throttle body injected tracker motor!! Instaled a Calimini Header, Bored 0.030 over new pistons rings and all other stuff. Instaled a flex-a-light E-fan,Centerforce dual friction cluch, rebuild the trany. Im just waiting for the Harness from Trail tough so i can start it up!! What can i expect for a power difference over my sammy motor that was rung right out!! Had about 60-75 lbs compression on all Cyl... So im hoping This will be a big improvement?? I also in staled power stearing..

It has a spring over with 31" tires and stock gears and stock T-Case..

Tom

HP doesn't tell the whole story. In trucks you should be more interested in torque - which the 1.6L has way more of.
