Also, I put together a quick video.  :)

It was a lot of fun.  The TJ I was running with was my parterner at the Team Trophy Challenge last year and we were able to run around on a lot of the same trails and get a better feel for the area.  We also broke trail from Shoestring down Manastash Ridge Trail, a path that according to the lack of tracks leading over the snow had not been run in recent times.  So I believe we were the first set of rigs for the season.  Or at least since the snow drifts had been put in place.  We hit about 50 miles of trail/road over the 3 days and had a pretty relaxing time.

It was surprisingly cold up there.  The Manastash campground was at 4300 feet and the heaters where kicked on in the campers at night.  Snow was seen on the back side of most of the ridges above 5000 feet, which was pretty much all of them.  We were surprised at just how much was still in the area.  We just had to air down the tires and were able to get on top with both the TJ and my SJ-410 without an issue.  Other then that the trails where pretty smooth and could easily be done with an open vehicle and decent tread.  I would probably recommend at least one locker to make things nice and easy.

Great pics and I'm sure they don't do it justice.  I just have to make it out to that part of the country someday (in the summer)!
