Noob needs advice on setup.(what a suprise)
« on: July 06, 2008, 09:22:15 PM »
I have a 96 tracker 4 door, planning on getting the calmini 6 inch combo.  I could use some advice on tire size.  So far its looking like BFG Mt's  235-85/16 measuring 32x9.3 Anyone think I can go bigger with the calmini setup? I don't mind cutting fenders but I don't want any frame rubbing if possible.  Thanks.
96' Tracker 4-door, 16v, auto, open front, limited slip rear, Jeff1997's 2" lift with diff spacer, 95' mustang shocks, Calmini axle truss, BFG 30x9.5 mud-terrains on 15x8 "D"-windows, trimmed and banged fenders and bumpers, radio shack CB, Tom Tom GPS, 100w KC lights

tires will rub the frame unless you have the correct backspacing on your rims, then again if you don't already have 16inch rims you could fit some 32.9.5 tsl swampers on there with the stock rims and wheel spacers to avoid frame rub....
