« on: July 19, 2008, 09:12:22 AM »
Anybody ever take one apart to retension and manage to get it back together? ???  I just painted my Sammy and I don't want to chance the buckle hanging in the door and gouging into my new paint. :o

Anyone?

When I had that problem it ends up the body had been pushed in far enough that it was rubbing on the mechanism and not allowing it to tension up properly...

body's straight. It's more like the internal spring mechanism has lost it's spring over time and you have to remember to help it in since it doesn't zip in like new one's do. Just hoping I could maybe do like you do with the old roll up vinyl blinds.
