I wanted to take a poll from you guys and girls.
What would you consider a pimped out tracker, sidekick,or samurai.

Just take a look at any of the ricer cars you see and that is the direction you need to go. Don't forget the CD hanging from the rear view mirror.

On the other hand, my bling is 5.12 R&P gears, 4.16 TC gears and a MS2.

I remember seeing a really nice Sidekick on Cardomain, I wouldn't call it "pimped out" (mainly because I don't speak that way  :P)  It had BMW headlights, 20" chrome wheels, painted orange... can't remember what else, but there was a lot done.

Pimped out is for people who want attention for having spent money on bling parts that do nothing to imporve off-road performance. We're probably the wrong crowd to be asking this question to.

Offroading isn't for everyone, but this is still a suzuki site. There are a few members here that have lowered their Trackicks with big wheels and fancy paint. To be honest, if I had the money I'd have one of each ;)

Look up Gen-Erix, he's done a nice job to his 4-door. He took a Honda Civic body kit and chopped it up to custom fit it on his Tracker, he really did a good job making it fit & look like it was made for it.

Well my version of a pimped out tracker is big mud tires, truck jacked way up in the air and lots of aftermarket 4x4 stuff installed.

thats ronnies tracker.  he actually put an entire BMW front on it.  (lights, grill, bumper)
and he painted it red

my version of a pimped out sami would be, a 4.3,t18, atlas t case, spring over, yj springs, front frame stretch, dana 44s, lockers, 38 inch swampers, winch, cut fenders, nice cage, olive drab paint or even flat black, oh and a stereo i could hear that hasent had the same tape stuck in it for 6 years
im shootin for 75% of that as the budget allows
dont understand the lowered trackers on shiny rims all customed out, seems pretty silly and expensive just to be unique, buy a vette or a mustang and  make somthing that performs well in its enviroment
just my thoughts
if you were right, dont you think i'd agree with you?

I have nearly this same setup in a 4-door. Honesty, I have just as much fun in it as I do the rock crawler. The IFS & coils has it's advantages.

My dream setup (aka, if money grew on trees) would be this probably:

Sidekick LWB with the roof hacked off behind the front seats and made into a 2 door convertible
2.3L Aerio motor, 5 speed tranny
4.24:1 t-case gears
33" Baja Claws tires on a somehow coil sprung Samurai front axle with chromo shafts and Longfield joints and 1.5" wheel spacers to match Sidekick axle width, stock rear axle with chromo shafts
ARB Air Lockers f/r
Frame leveling up front to get some more height under the doors
No doors
Jeep CJ rims

If I kept it IFS I would go with the ZukiNation 4.5" lift, Toyota CV's, Grand Vitara front diff, etc.
Another really cool setup would be a Sidekick with complete Toyota running gear shoehorned into it. Lots of power, not a whole lot of weight, and tons of manoeverability.
97 Sidekick 4door 5 speed, 1.5 spacer lift, 2" body lift, CJ rims, locked rear, 31's, 4:1 low <SOLD>
01 Vitara 2.0L 5 speed, 2.5" Calmini lift, 2" body lift, Sidekick rims, locked rear, 31's, 4:1 low, 5.13 diffs <SOLD>
03 XL7 2.7 5 speed, 4.5" AE lift with OME springs, 2" AE body lift, 5.13 diffs, 3:1 low, 235/80R17 BFG AT's on Ultra 17x8 with 1" spacers, skid plates, Balmer Fab front bumper
