I use the mini-spool from Trail Tough.  Works great and I've never had a problem with it.

There was a white Tracker on here that used a universal roof rack, but it was a four door.  With the 2 door, unless it's a hard top, you need to either build a custom mount off or look at buying the Calimini kit.

For the winch, I would keep an eye out on Craigslist.  If you don't mind it being a little slow, you can usually pick up Chicago Electric or other similar winches for pretty cheap with bad motors, then just order a new motor.  Just remember to take the winch motor off once a year to clean it up, as dust gets into the engines, then they get wet, turns to mud, then the magnets break off.  :)

The Garage Sale section is great for finding deals from fellow Zuki members.  Just depends on what your looking for!

thanks a bunch! couldnt really find a review for the trail tough spool, and at 109 bucks, you cant beat it. They advertise the spool for kicks, this will be exactly the same for my tracker correct?

also, ive been checking CL, love that site! and thanks for the motor idea! there are a lot on there with bad motors!

anyone had any problems with the calmini 3" body lift?

Yep, just about everything for a Sidekick also works in the Tracker, as they are the same thing.  I actually have the mini-spool in the back of my SJ with a Hybrid rear end.  The only issue is the tires squeak a bit when going around corners on hot asphalt.  I wouldn't recommend it for a daily driver, but it's great for a trail only rig.  :)
