CAMO!!
« on: September 23, 2004, 12:43:55 AM »
What do you think of this...

I think full cammo on my '03 tracker would look amazing...I ain't never seen one of these wrapped vehicles in real life (yeah, thats plastic wrap not paint on the ford).  I wonder how well that stuff holds up.

Anyone have any personal experience with this 3m vinyl wrap stuff.

A friend of mine has it on his new Yamaha Rhino and it looks very durable. Only time will tell.

Didn't Calmini have this on a Tracker?

It's no longer on their website, but there is a picture of it.

from a distance it looks really clean but depending on who does the application, a closer inspection may show wrinkes along the window seals, door handles, etc.  Its nice, but make sure you get high quality 7 year vinyl.

Your rig looks pretty good :)

How much did it cost to do the whole thing?

Gotcha ;)

Does that vinyl stuff trap moisture and cause rust?

Is this your rig?

This is something I would really like to try. Any tips on installation?

yes  that is my truck.
the stuff I got is a breathable material and removable. I thought it was fairly easy to put on.

It's removeable? How is it holding up so far?

Cool 8) They want $450 for a Jeep size kit. How did you get by for only $200?
