Snorkel for GV?
« on: September 18, 2004, 08:34:05 AM »
Has anyone built a snorkel for their '99 or later GV?  I would love to see a picture.

Try these guys for a GV snorkel, they were working with Airflow on one and it was supposed to be ready around about now.

generally speaking most snorkels, from the outside, look almost alike.  I would imagine it would be a matter of fitting an intake tube from your stock air box to the fender where you could then mount it to the snorkel assembly.  Then you could use anyone you want. ;D

Look at this totally slick looking thing:

Compared to this thing (which I believe is designed for an earlier sidekick).

The snorkel doesn't even follow the a-pillar.  If I was gonna do that, I'd go to the pumbing mart and just glue together some pvc pipe!

Fuck it...you are right mr.explosivo...I'm not gonna spend $550 Euros (whatever the fuck a euro is) just for a snorkel that may or may not fit.  I'm going to plumbing mart to make it myself.

Explosivo...let me see a better picture of your snorkel...pleeese.

Yeah, I require no Mistars. ;D

Here's a pic:

It doesn't look the greatest, but that's because, like everything else on my Tracker, it was a quick hack-job with absolutely no previous planning. ;D

The one thing in the Tracker I drew up plans for (to get the proper volume, recommended by the sub manufacturer ;D).
