so they run 16" wheels so that must mean the transferbox is bigger than a vitara/kick to house the gears meaning lower range gears :-) combined with stock 5:12 vitara kick r&Ps,   so could end up with a nice gear range

but will the gearbox t case fit on a vitara/kick 1600 lump
or the t case fit the vitara gearbox ?

What about the gv V6 at 4.300 must be a difference if we run 5:12 in the diff

The difference is mainly in the engines, more power can pull higher gearing. Even the 1.6 in the GV has around 10% more power and torque than the 16V Track/Kick (and lets face it a 16V Track/Kick has nearly 20% morepower than our 8Vs)

fair enough . so we need to pull about 110bhp then :-)

Maybe a new cam is in order, not sure how much i would gain,    I see toughtrail is doing a cheaper gear set at the moment but still no high range, :-(  maybe a T case double is the way forward
