Older Pro-Comp Kick lift mods?
« on: October 18, 2008, 03:36:27 PM »
I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of my current Sami (spoa, 31s) and buying a 4 door Kick. I can get an older complete Pro-Comp 2.5" kit for pretty cheap. I'm wanting to use 31s under the 4 door without a bodylift, kinda don't like them.
The kit has drop brackets for the front A-arms, strut mounts, and the side brackets for the diff. It has alll 4 springs, rear shocks and limiting straps for the front, and a second mount for front dual shocks. I was actually pretty impressed when I saw all it came with.
Here is where the question comes into play. If I use 1" spacers so I have enough lift for 31s, will I have a CV angle issue?

2" lift
2.0 swap
I know...Pretty boring... FOR NOW...

If it's got diff drop brackets you should be ok....but there is really only one way to find out I think.

The kit came with 1" diff drop brackets. should be good for a 3" lift as most people run 2" spcer lifts with the diff in stock location.
