Ive just rebuilt my 1992 sami engine and have been told by a injector refurbish my fuel injector is toast. Ive tried every where to get a replacement with no luck. Can someone please help me with sourcing a new one or changing the TBI carb for a different one that will work with minimal modifications. I'm pulling my hair out and so want to get on the road in my sami

I have called Hawk and i've got one on the way thank you . Just out of interest if there hadn't been one available does anyone know what the next option would have been. i.e. fit a pre injection carb, a tbi carb from another manufacturer, aftermarket carb. Could i have converted to a webber carb or old style standard carb. This is a just wondering question as to what my options would have been if i wasnt able to find one

If you want to go carb with the 8V you can actually snag the intake from the 1.3L.  I wouldn't recommend it though, as you would have to put a fuel regulator on and would loose your ability to climb.

The next step would probably be to raid the engine compartment of a Geo Metro/Suzuki Swift.  They had 1.3L throttle body engines and if it wasn't a direct swap you could probably change the intakes between them.

How much was the one from Hawk?

Its a recon one and it cost me 116 inc shipping.

 You can use one from a 1.6 8V. I'd use the whole throttle body though, it's just a little bigger bore.
