i have a lot of positive camber on the front of my vitara.

apparently camber bolts are the fix.

what is your problem, do you have too much neg camber, or you want more?

i got my pos camber from 2" sus lift, and now its slowly eating the outside of my front tyres in turns and stuff. also, i think that my castor is also out by a bit now.

looks like time for new struts, and some camber bolts, then a major wheel alignment!.

camber bolts will fix this easy, around $20 on ebay, easy to put in and adjust and should fix 100% on a 2" lift, i still have a bit of prob with a 3" lift.

I have a big problem with negitive camber. I have been told about these camber bolts but haven't been able to locate any for my sidekick.

In my case I think that it is caused by both warn out springs and the fact that I have 2.5" backspacing on my wheels so it puts alot more leverage on the coils.

you need spec prod ez cam xr 81250 from   specprod.com

this adds negative camber (ie; / \ ) to correct the positive camber (ie; \ / ) caused by a suspension lift.

if you have negative camber already then I would think that your springs ect must have collapsed quite a bit.

the bolts were originally designed to add neg camber for lowered performance vechiles, and can be used either way, and so may help reduce your negative camber if thats what you've got.

however, I would strongly suggest that your stated problem needs and warrants further investigation from a safety point of view.

yup, so have I,  the bolts are 12mm, which is a standard, and the xr's give the max adjustment of 2 degrees - worked fine for me, a diy installation of 20 mins per side with an immediate obvious improvement, which the alignment shop tuned to spot-on factory specs.

Are you guys running the Old Man Emu spring because I was going to buy these real soon

and do these springs cause positive camber issues this way I will level my rig and then I can buy these camber bolts and align my tires.

Is this correct or am I missing something.

right now I have negitive camber problems i.e.( / \ )

I would recommend you get some professional advice as to why your camber is like that before you start to compensate for it.

I have serious camber & alignment issues that need to be resolved.  I'm leaving black marks in the drive way just pulling it around the house.  I'm going to modify the upper strut mount to correct some of it but hope to use the product above to fine tune.

Hows about using 4 of the 8125's  Each is good for 1.75 deg.  So one on the top bolt and one on the bottom should be good for 3.5 Deg.

Or I can slot the lower strut bolt hole and modify it to accept an excentric alignment washer like the Chrysler kit on 83130.

Wish i could post some pics but can't get it to take of the Adobe Acrobat stuff.

Here is a Screen shot.

I wouldn't think you could use these bolts i the top & bottom holes, as the use in the first hole requires rotation of the jont with the hub around the pivot point of the second hole.

The next step if the bolts are in sufficient that I considered was some offset/eccentric bushes for the lower A arms, which again can be set to increase/decrease camber, but I guess would be harder to fit yourself without the proper tools. Luckily I didn't need these!

see www.autospeed.com for clarification
