Fender trimming

ok so i got jeffs coil spacers and i got 2 in wheel spacers on 2357515 bfg atto's when i turn they are rubbing what is the easyest way to trim the fenders.  i never have done any body work.  so someone please help me.

Put making tape on the area to be trimmed. Layout the lines you want to cut, use a die grinder or 4.5" electric with a thin cutoff wheel and go to town. That is the neat way to do it. If you don't mind possibly scarring up the surronding metal, you can use the trusty sawzall. Lay it out with the tape on first.

Let me guess, you put those tires on stock rims right?  If so you are probably rubbing on the frame at the rear of the tire.  Cutting fenders is not going to fix that.  You need to space the wheels out or get wheels with the correct backspacing.  I had 8 inch rims with 3.75 backspacing and then the tires did not rub.

i was able to form my front wells mostly by bending the sheet metal in with channel locks, and re-installed the plastic well treatment. hammered the inside a little. only a little cutting to make it happen.
almost looks stock. mabe.
you have spacers- mabe rubbing in front also? i'd think bending would work there too.
i have 7" rims and 31x10.5's(3 1/2" back space?)
i have a little rub on frame from flex/turn, but don't care.

'89 kick w/little motor, still got pieces of jeff's pucks, stan's sticks into 4.24:1 tcase, 31x10.5x15's, rear lockrite, kick power steering, some radios(kj6esv), bmw seat, other changes just because. done on the cheap.

Another trick for bending them is to use a small socket behind the wheel well, then using the pliers to roll the body around the socket.  That way you get a smooth bend.

thank you all for your input i will see what i can do.  Also no i do not have stock rims i have 15x8's with 2in wheel spacers

i am running jeff's coil spring spacers, it is rubbing about half way through a turn cause i can turn it to stop and it will not rub

i sprayed a light gray primer in my wheel wells after beating in the obvious rub places(rear of front wells, mostly). after a little more "fine tuning", i only get a little rubbing when i stuff the wheels.
i modified the body mounting to lift 1"+. this helped, i'm sure(and real cheap).
very little rubbing in back.
i tried 8" rims(unknow backsp.)but got more rub.
i'd think you can make yours fit ok.
