help on my kick

ok so today i did a oil change and i drain the oil and it came out just fine but after i was done i pulled the dipstick out and there was a tan creamy white color in there does any one know what that is  ???

Moisture buildup from too many short trips. Good on ya for changing the oil!

Get yourself a 20 oz cup of coffee, tune in your favorite radio station, and go for a Long Fast ride on the expressway. You really need to heat that thing up and blow it out. 50 to 100 miles ought to do it.

 If after you drive for a few days, check the oil again, and if it still has that creamy color, then you have a problem with the headgasket or a cracked block. Let's hope it's just too much short trip driving...

so i went on a long drive up to hinckley mn about 100 miles there and 100 miles back just got home so im going to check it in the morning but lets hope its just from the short trips

Had mine changed recently with a bottle of lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer....and it's a nice golden/amber color....mmmm pennzoil....    :P

BTW, I short trip all the time....hardly ever on the highway....and I never saw the creamy stuff.

that's what happened to mine. the oil was creamy and turned out i had a leak in my cylinder head. had to do a top overhaul.
