Ok I feel like im asking a dumb question here, How do you get the rear shocks off of these things? Does the bottom bolt come out or not? seems like it is pressed in, and the top nut on the shock, any easy way to get to it?

If it's the same as the Sidekick, and I don't see why it'd be any different, all you have to do is get a wrench on the nut on the top and use 2 wrenches on the bottom...should be pretty straightforward.

cant seem to get the bolt out on the bottom, almost looks like its pressed in, so it does come out? I guess ill put the heat to it

It is more likely that it has rusted in.

Have you tried putting the nut loosely back on the bolt and belting the **** out of it with a hammer?

i had to torch mine off the top mount after snapping one of the shocks in half...  nothing is pressed, just old fashion nuts and bolts.

After taking the lower nuts off i pushed on that end of the bolt with the handle on my hammer, while unthreading the bolt from the shock with a ratchet. That worked on one of mine, on the other I had to use a cutoff wheel to expose the piece that was frozen and put a vise grip on that.
Pressing on the bolt and unthreading it from the shock with a with an impact wrench or ratchet seems to usually work. Good luck
