Okay, I'll bite. What's their proposed kit come with, what power increase can we expect to see, and what's the projected cost?

I'd much rather a company develop a kit to swap in a 2.2L GM ECOtec motor 150hp/150 lb-ft in our 200lb. rig would be awesome!  It would be a lot lighter and more plentiful in supply than swapping in the suzuki V6 with nearly simular HP numbers.

Let me start by saying I know nothing about the ECOtec motor. But, I do know peak HP & Torque numbers rarely tell the whole story. I had a built V8 small block in a HEAVY '52 Chevy truck. Ricers claimed they had as much HP & Torque as me all the time (Turbo charged) - but when we'd race, I'd pull the 1/8th mile WAAAAAYYYYY harder, and be several car lengths ahead - too much for them to catch up in the 2nd 1/8th mile. In a vehicle with MUCH more weight, and one of the crappiest wind drag coefficients money can buy. So, why'd I pull so much harder? "Area under the curve". Did they have as much peak HP & Torque as me? Sure - but it was in a VERY narrow RPM band. My power was strong throughout the RPM range. The 22r looks anemic on paper, but it gets gobs of torque quickly (making it a great 4WD engine, and good for MPG). So - anyone have Dyno numbers of the Suzuki vs the ECOtec?

;) BTW, not to be elistist or anything, but keeping my Suzuki all Suzuki was also a primary goal in my build. It may be turbocharged, but it's a turbo SUZUKI. Yeah, a small block chevy has more of everything, but it aint a ZUK.
The usual stuff, and 2nd generation Air to liquid intercooled TURBOCHARGER

What's the turbo out of  ;)  I like keeping things zook too, but usually because it's a lot easier. The 4.3L and 22r swaps are nice, but sometimes the adaptability makes things difficult. I'm already going with Yota axles 'casue we have virtually no other gearing options in the Suzuki  :'( Unless making a huge $$$ plunge into the 35" tire realm....
