best riding rear shocks ?

best riding rear shocks ?

I just ordered Jeff's lift kit with strut spacers . I just wondered what is the smoothest riding rear shocks to put on ? I don't know if it will or not, but I don't want it to ride like a lumber wagon .

OK, 2nd best . I should have said budget shocks from a parts house . Like Napa,O reilly,Auto zone,advanced auto parts etc.

I run procomp shocks on all of my rigs. I think with your spacer kit these would be a good match.

Good Luck trying to get ahold of Boondox, I think he's been lost in the "Boondox." I have a new set of the Crown Vic shocks that are longer than stock, and are supposed to ride well, although I never used them. $25 shipped to you.

I'm happy with the $12 units I got from Auto Zone. The guys running Napa shocks have been very happy with them for the $$$

*shrugs* my cheapies run 200% better than the stockers did. I'm sure the extra coin (which I didn't have after buying OME springs & struts at the time) on monroe or Napa would have been even better (If not longer lasting at least. I only have ~5000 miles on mine, but they're fine). I can tell you the one's Jeff points you to have the metal sleeve already in them, so you don't have to spend the time (and aggravation) mining out the ones from your old shocks to put into the ones I had (I think this is a mustang vs crown-vic thing  ???).
