will a distributorfrom a 1.3 fit into a 1.6 8v
If I have to understand don't bother explaining

You need to use the adapter from the 1.3 or grind the end of the shaft off the dizzy.

Are you sure Rhinoman? I think that the 1.3 dizzy from a Samurai installation will slide right into the 1.6 8-valve Sidekick / Vitara engine. I'm not 100% but I think I've done that though...  ???

 I just swaped distributors the 1.3 was longer than the 1.6 below the gear I just swaped the adaptor only 3 bolts 1.3 dist. is now nicly installed on 1.6
If I have to understand don't bother explaining
