Twin Cam Intake question.
« on: March 22, 2009, 11:40:32 AM »
Would anyone know the distance the MAF should be from the throttle body on a Swift GTI twin cam?
The intake has been severely shortened to fit it into the Samurai and I would like to get it closer to the original length it would have been in the Swift!

I don't think that it matters too much. On the later V engines the MAF is built into the throttle body.

Topheavy...

the conversion was already done but very badly. I'm in the process of redoing it right. The whole truck was butchered and so far I've had to redo the suspension, drivetrain, interior and body now I'm working on getting the Engine and wiring right!

Thanks for the info, before I got your response I had already moved it around and it didn't fix the problem. I'm about to install a check engine light a diagnostic fuse to see if a can get codes. thanks for the help!
