Front drive shaft hitting!!!

So I put roadless gear tcase poly mounts and a new stock tranny mount. I heard the hitting the other day when i went trail riding. Its only slightly hitting the cross member right at the u.v. joint. I dont have the money to buy the high cross member to fix this problem. so i was thinking on grinding it alittle and later see if my buddy can fab up a custom cross member thats actually welded to the frame and not bolted around.

What U-Joint is hitting your cross member? There shouldn't be anything rubbing on it unless something is teaked out of shape.

One of the reasons I only run stock mounts. I also like my weak link to be the mount, not the case or arms.

The Rocky Road kit comes with a couple extra bushings, you use two in between the t-case and the mount to get the extra height. You could put a spacer in there to lift it up.
My SJ-410 doesn't even have that cross member...

what holds your rear mount then? I'll try using some washers. Stock mounts are nice but these polys are great the stick dont bounce around and it has less vibration while drivng

I have a different mount that sits further up, probably because of the 4 speed. If you zoom in on this picture (

) you can see the lack of anything under the drive shaft in the front.
If the washers don't work I would cut it out and build a new one. If you have room just go straight across from the top of the frame to the top of the frame, like you mentioned earlier.
