Thanks All!

Just wanted to say thanks to everybody who helped out with suggestions about my alternator / electrical issues.  I finally got my 12SI alternator operation yesterday evening after constructing a new bracket from scratch since my original bracket was a cast bracket, modifying the tension arm and the little bracket that stabilizes the tension arm, re-running all the wire from the alt to the fuse box then to the battery (used 4awg wire and an 80-am fuse since I was able to easily get pre-made cables at the local parts store) and going through four belts trying to find the right size to fit the new alt.

After all that and about 1 weekend and 4 evenings worth of work it's all up and running now and charging the battery perfectly.  I now have a 98-amp alt that will probably outlast my tracker and I finally found an excuse to use the new MIG welder I got for Christmas.  :D

Thanks again everybody.  :)
