Oh I have a wrecked 96 5 speed tracker with a 16v motor and a 92 automatic with a blown motor.  I want to put the 16v motor and 5 speed into
the 92.  What all do I need to swap?
Do I have to swap the entire wiring harness?  Dashboard?

If your 92 is 16v then you do not need to swap wiring and dashboard and modified some existing auto wiring so that you can start with manuel tranny. If you just swap the engine then it is straight forward.
If the 92 is 8v, then you had to swap the wiring and the dashboard.

If u use the standard has 5.12 running gears and the auto has 4.7? something. if u are running large tires u may want to swap the running gears and engine and keep the auto tranny. if the auto tranny u have uses a simple shift linkage and no computer u can adapt it to ur 16 valvue.

No 16v in '92. Swaq the entire dash wiring and use the 96 gauge cluster as it has the needed speed sensor. Use the 16v fuel pump and plumbing also as it'll be a higher fuel pressure for the 16v.

 The 4 door auto is a 4 speed with overdrive, it uses the same gear ratio as a 5 speed, 5.12s. And the 3 speed auto in the 2 doors uses 4.62s. I'm not sure if you will have any problems setting the late model 16v up to the early 3 speed auto. That's one I haven't done yet.

The fuel pumps and lines are the same for 8v and 16v engines, I work at NAPA. It's only different for the 1.8L.
