Takes a lot of time. You can buy a new harness from a lot of vendors on here. Call aftermarket4x4 - Sean has a lot of experience with these swaps.

i can get engine and harnes all for 85 bucks but i dident kno about it seemed like lot of work but do yo got change the gage cluster on the dache tach ect.

Probably the best write-up is on the Aftermarket 4x4 site.

They sell the bushings and engine mounts and such you need, and can splice the wiring if you send them the harnesses.  I would fire off an email, they are pretty helpful.  :)

Sean knows his stuff. If he says body lift is needed, then a body lift is needed.
