what is that, a slide hammer?  i think their are some other ways to take the drums off.  i think you can take the bolts off the drum and put the tire on backward and give it a good whack, it might come off :-/

Thanks for the tip. That should work great, now that I've had them off once.
The puller is a 3-leg device... kinda like a tripod... & the legs slide around to match any bolt pattern. I've been renting that puller, off and on, for 30 years. <g> (I try to not use slide hammers to pull anything attached to axles... and that LR was
really tight.)
I wonder why those parts are so tight. To pull the lines it's going to require cutting the line and using a 6 point socket... with an extension... and hoping that's enough.
