For my 1988 sammy i picked up some cj springs 2" wide and are 45.5" long (stock in rear are 41"), goin for more flex (better ride)  what would u do for shackels in rear?  i only have 2 of the cj springs as of now.  also where can u get some cheap but good bushings for these leaf springs?  1 bushing is missing others are ok. anybody know where else I can pick up 2 more cj springs 2" wide?

Just do the CJ/RUF swap. It was a popular swap a few years ago.

If you don't rebuild your front mounts your rear axle will slide 2.25" further back.  That might or might not be a good thing but you will need a drive-line spacer.  A few people have talked about using spring pad relocation's where you drill your spring pad to make your axle sit off-set, sliding it forward and inch or two on the spring so you don't stuff your tire into the back of the fender.

Sky Manufacturing used to make a kit, but I don't see it on their website any longer.  Your rear mounting point is going to be 4.5" longer so you will probably want to switch to a folding shackle or just move your shackle mounting point back 4.5" to compensate.  Then you can use the stock springs.

You might want to look at the RUF (Rear Springs Up Front) conversions at the same time.  It softened up the ride on my SJ immensely when I first did the conversion.
