FENDERS!
« on: August 11, 2004, 01:58:31 PM »
Ok,
I just got some calmini fender flairs. I got the old ones off and it says to get the flair track off. Now the track is what it looks to be spot or flow welded to the body, I dont have an air impact chisel but I do have a chisel and hammer so I tried that and on both of the welds I attempted it looks to have ripped a little hole in the body and didnt disconnect from the track. Do you need an air impact? Is there any other ways? Thanks
You can take the Sammy off the trail, but you cant take the trail out of the Sammy.

They are spot welded. get a drill and drill the spot weld out and then wall llaaaaa trim it all up to look nice, paint it with rust preventer, and install the new calmini ones. good luck happy zuking.
95' Kick with a 3 in. body lift and plenty more to come!
