Anvil Problems?

Ok here it goes. First of all I know Im an idiot for doing this so no need to remind me. I was down on the beach this weekend, and some old folks where stuck really bad. So I pulled out there sedan in REVERSE. The front started hopping a little, but managed to get them out. After that I noticed that the front was not working right= NO 4x4. So I came home and jacked it up, and tryed to turn the front while locked in.  I changed the drivers side hub since while I was on the beach in 4x4 it felt like it was pulling hard to the passenger sider, so I thought that was the problem.

If I jack the drivers side up it has quite a bit of resitance, but I can turn the tire by hand.
If I jack up the passanger side and turn it, it spins pretty freely.

i have a Anvil front end with the calmini limited slip differential unit. What happened? Or is this normal?
what is going on here?

Any loud pops or bangs when you were pulling them out? Does your alignment still look ok or are you toe in /----\

You know now that I am looking it does look toed in. here is a pict from the beach afterwards.
I had it aligned before I went, and the camber bolts still look in the same position.

The Anvil itself is a fixed part (non-moving)...not likely there is a problem there.  Did a bearing, cv, or hubs fail/break?

Both hubs are ok. When I spin the tires in the air, the part that the cv axle mounts too spins with it.(both sides)
 When I spin the drivers side, It is very hard to spin, and I can see the driveline moving back and forth.
when I spin the passanger side it just spins freely and a little vvvvrrrbbbb clicking sound from what sounds like inside the axle . no driveline movement.

I suspect a busted CV joint on the passenger's side.

If I had a busted cv joint then when I turn the passenger wheel, the stub axle itself wouldnt turn right? The stub axle on the passenger on the pass side spins freely, and makes a sound like the axle is pulled out and the teeth are just barley touching. Like a vvvvrrrrrrr sound when I spin it.

sounds like a busted output shaft or you stripped the splines on the shaft inside the diff

Yeah, I see what you're saying, thought it might still turn with the tire in the air depending on how bad it was busted.  Seems like one of mine did that.  But the sound coming from toward the diff, not the CV eliminates that!

Im going to pull the anvil out and see whats going on today. Seemed like Zukipilot had some Idea, but havent heard from him yet today.

I got the axle out, and gave it a good looking over. The axle on the passenger side looks to be sticking out further than it used to. so I whacked it with a chunk of wood and it pushed in, and in the process made contace with the diff again. So it looks like I broke a clip or something. I have lost my instructions, and dont have a service manual.

I know on the stock axle the drivers side you just use a slide hammer and pull it out. How do I get these axles out of the anvil, I want to pull the third member off and have a look inside.

Sorry,  I tried to post up when we were going through maintenance earlier today. I was going to guess (without seeing the picture) that you poped a CV or an axle shaft. From the looks of it you may of cracked your frame behind your steering box allowing the stub shaft to pop out f place. Inspect your frame inside and out around the arch on the drivers side close to the mounting point of your ssteering box. Look for a crack or split onthe bottom of the frame in the crumple zone of the frame. It can be fixed if that is the issue. Take us some pics if you find some cracke.
