ok got another question . i was searching over on Acks and im sure  if i got this right so maybe someone could conferm this for me .
is the Fuel pump in the 1995  4 door side kick  with a 16 valve , the same fulelpump as in my 89 which had the 8V ?

if i understand the seach correctly .  "fuel pump oprtions "
the fuel pump from an 89-91 fits  a 94 16valve . so is it also the same for the 95 ?

or will i need to also swap the tanks out ?

Your current fuel pump and tank should work fine.

ok . thank you , good to hear .
so today i got the old engine and trany out  as well as the harness and ecm .
i also  gutted the interior . I decided  I might as well  use everything I can . So  im replacing the dash .
The seats are better then mine as was the carpet  so  that will also be going into my 89 .
door panels als will get swapped .  my remote mires dont work anlyonger but the  ones on the 4 door do , so the will go over to ..

my only concern right now is the harness .that might just take some time . but i guess thats  just part of it
i want to thank everyone again  for their help  on this , im sure i will have more questions

I'm pretty sure the door panels won't interchange, since the doors are not interchangable between 2 and 4 doors.
I was thinking the seats wouldn't interchange either.  But maybe that is just the seat tracks, and you can swap the seats between seat tracks and geth them to work.

I know the manual window regulators are not the same between 2 door and 4 door doors.

The locks and latches/handles should interchange without a problem.

well for some reason my regulators are  exsactly the same  so thats odd ???MMmmm . not thats the front door regulators . cant say what the back ones have as i have not taken the pannels off of those .
i wonder if there was some kind of production change  after a given date and i have an older 95  4 door???? .

now as to the door pannels , they dont fit . while evertyhing lines up . the 4 door , doors are about 4 inchs narrower then the  2 door . to bad ,,, but  maybe someone here could use them when i get done . they are in very good shape

i be sure and post some photos .   once i get  things lined out and start  battening things down some more
i know right now  that im going to miss that flat shelf above the jockybox  that my 89 dash had  :-\

i got alot of work ahead  and little time to do it . but im hopping to be  getting close to the wiring this weekend

you know what  maybe it would be a good idea  to make a list of things that   i find  that dont enterchange . as well as any modifications i might have to make to something to make it fit .
Interior wise anyway
that way folks will  have it here  to go by

That is odd.  I know when I compared the regulators they weren't the same.  Seems like the length was different and maybe the mounting points were different.  I can't remember for sure what years I was comparing...I was thinking the 4 door was a 92/93 and the 2 door was a 93.

Good idea.

One other thing, the VIN is on the dash of the 89' you might have trouble
if you ever register in another state, or just have a nosey trooper check

The fuel pump should be OK, its the pressure regulator that sets the pressure and you will have swapped that out. Do you have a Check Engine Light showing? what colour are the spark plugs running?
