dealer wants $260, only aftermarket is 1.5 lift for 400.   I just want stock -cheap springs.  Where to get them?

I think I still have my Kick coils but they were used for +150K miles before I got my 3" kit so there kind of worn out. Let me know if you want me to see if they are still in the shop.

Whats wrong with your coils? What are you trying to achive? Have you tried a local salvage yard?

I still have my stock ones also.  The rears are spoken for but I could part with the fronts.

Yes,  Cherokee and TJ are too soft to be used up front.  The a-arm acts as a leaver increasing the weight rate.

I have some pictures here some where.  And I have coil tag #'s too if ya need them.  

I'm looking into Explorer / Ranger stuff next.

Spider Trax has a nice selection of New 5" dia. coils in the height and rate of your choice for $47 each.

i have xj coils. I thought it might be too wide, causing the shaft to hit it?

Here is a clip with pics form my 4-door build up.  It might give you an ideia of how the Jeep coils look in place on the Kick.  May be some ZJ V-8 coils would work.  I'll have to try to get the #'s or score a set to try.

Desired 4-dr ride hight / stance.  Ok maybe not quite that high (tires are off of the ground), But close...   [naughty]



But once down off of the Jack stands ...  THe coils compress to the bump stops.   [crying] [crying] [crying]   THe A-Arms act as a leaver requiring a much greater spring rate.  


The coils do hit the edges of the struts but not enough to matter at this stage of trial and error.

A "shop" once told me firebird front strus fork in trackers to lower them.   Why not to raise them?  I would have thought it would give you more articulation because of the longer strut travel - 1inch?

The inner CV can't take more than
25* angle and I think that's maxed
out, more than that and you will nade
it.

I think the longer strut from a FireBird
will be too much, unless you can eliminate
the 3" strut spacer, it might work if it's
a close match
