Found this link comparing about 14 different AT type tires on different terrain (on a Hilux). Won't help anyone wondering about pure off-road tires but it does provide useful info to help you select the tire for your daily driver/play truck that might work best for you. I run the Michelin LTXs and they rated fifth in the comparison. I'm thinking if they factored in how long these damned things wear they may have moved up in the ranking a little.
