Sky's been around longer and makes better parts. Sky's has a sponsorship banner on this site.

I think you should at least see mt stuff before commenting. The reason I designed this kit is because NONE of the spacer lifts available were up to my standard. I've said it before and will again how many vehicles to you see rolling off the production line with plastic suspension components? You do on the other had see aluminum parts. BTW... the spring spacers are machined to accept the stock rubber spring isolator

Personally, I would never run a billet alum or metal spacer. metal on metal= random grinding noises offroad.

How does your suspension work in your truck? Do the springs have rubber at both ends. I'm sure it doesn't. How bad does it make "random grinding noises" off road?

I have the firs kit I built in my wife's sidekick. It has more that 20 000K on it since I built and installed it, and I can assure you it don't have any "grinding noises"

Just cause someone advertises on the site doesn't mean they make a better product!

BTW.. Low range off road also carry my lift and they advertise on this site

The "Size" '' are all the same, The 1/2 inch is made up with shock strut spacers. Its funny how you say "I don't want to run a BL, 90% of people with trackers and kicks run BL's. There are not many "lift" options out there for IFS zuk's, Unless you want to but the Calmini 3" susp. But even than the guys that buy the Calmini 3" susp end up paying for the Calmini 3" BL.

It's not "un common" to run a BL on IFS zuk's, They are cheap and give you clearance. Search threw the "members rides" picture thread, You will see what i am talking about.

If you are planning on buying this http://www.zuksoffroad.net/upskirt.htm , Think again, Like i said before, Its all the same stuff, But that guy is  WAY OVER PRICED. Coil spacers and strut spacers are like $130 max.

Do what you want.

My lift consisting of: 2-1.5" coil and 2-1.5" strut spacers for the front and 2-2" coil spacers for the rear is $135 to the US or $145 to Canada. If you want the rear diff spacer with it it is $30 more. All you need are longer rear shocks. Let me know if you are interested.

Not to sure when the last time you steped foot into a machine shop... or if you ever have! But check the cost to get the billet aluminum and the find out how much to turn them out on a CNC leathe. You will see the kit is NOT overpriced, never mind all the steel parts are tig welded and powder coated. These are not cheeply made kits. So that is Mearly your opinion and you know what they say about those...

Ya well i know that it is not uncommon to run BL but i simply dont want to. I MIGHT run a 1" BL, but BL's make it really top heavy and that i just not what i want to do, also the kit is not overpriced those parts look like high qualiity parts and i know not only the material is expesive but the skill and labor put into them makes weather the part is of good quality or not.

I have to stick up for Mudchild here. He is right, the cost of making an all metal lift is not cheap. His prices are not that high judging from the work and material that goes into them. This is the EXACT reason mine are made from plastic. I have a shop with all the needed CNC tooling and materials but the cost is just too high. My main area of expertise is plastics and although the cost is still not free or even cheap, it is much cheaper than an all metal lift.

I do give you props on a nice looking and I'm sure good performing lift. It takes some hard work to make these things, as you know.

Me personally...i hate body lifts.
I like my plastic bumpers, i'm just not a exposed metal and tube bumper kind of guy.  So to me a body lift is cheap alright, you get what you pay for.

100's of tutorials and how-to's over the years on here and not one that shows you how to make aftermarket bumper mounts after doing a budget body lift.  And i refuse to pay for the Calmini kit just to get those mounts.  I'm in the same opinion as the OP of this thread.  For just a little lift get spacers or springs.

Avoid body lifts, they don't technically lift your truck at all.  since the frame is in the exact same place as it is when stock, you gain no real ground clearance.  Even then if you then add a 2 inch suspension lift your frame is still only lifted 2 inches.  A body lift is a waste of time unless you're going to build a huge trail killer rig.
