no, seriously, if you learn to drive properly, it really does not matter.   there are more trackers out there for parts

Sammy's have more and cheaper aftermarket stuff for them.  Kick's have a better softtop arrangement in my opinion.

Samurai is narrower so can go places the Kick might not.  They have smaller motor and no power steering.  No fuel injection.  Parts are usually cheaper but can be harder to find.  Tough as nails.
Sidekick definitely has better softop, more "creature comforts" if that matters.  Samurai has leaf springs, Kick has IFS and coils in the rear.

Or you can just simply have the best of both worlds, a sammy with kick engine, power steering, injection, axle gears with a spring over suspension and 33s. Go everywhere and not cost a fortune.

That would actually be an interesting survey.  I'd bet they have more respect for the sammy than the trackick.

first response from a jeep guy is always"  why bother with one of those, just get a jeep"  remember, they're uneducated in the way of the suzuki

Special Camera lens ;) It actually has quite a few "rub" marks on the body now. I just try and clean it up after a good weekend of wheeling. I want to keep her as happy as possible ;D Guess I should have added thes pics too ;D ;D ;D ;D

A lot of people are doing the built Trackicks/Vits/XL-7 to carry more gear, people or both! Not to mention the ride and extra power. (GOT A/C  ;D?)
I would like to see an XL-7 with a coiled straight axle up front about 6" of suspention lift, and armor all around and under. That would be  :-*...

Depends on who's driving, what you're driving through, and how much you want to spend building.

Check out the cover story, that red sidekick with a body lift, armor and a nervy driver is running with well built samurais.

With what a decent samurai is costing now, I think that the cost is about the same or less to get a sidekick up on 30's with a locker in back.

The aftermarket support, samurai t-case gearing options, and the simplier leaf spring suspension, give you more options to take the samurai beyond the basic 30's.
