Coil spacers now installed... Final question.
« on: October 20, 2009, 08:52:29 PM »
I just finished getting my coils spacers installed. Took a while, and I'm sure you are all tired of my questions on it, but I dont think I did too bad for a greenhorn. lol.

I started out with 1.5" spacers on the rear, and asked lowrange to send me the proper size ones for the front at a later time. When I got my front ones, they had sent 1.5" as well. I had been told I needed 1" or 1.25" for the front, but I was tired of fooling with it and paying shipping costs, so I decided to go with the 1.5s.

Soooo.... My question is... since I have a little more clearance in the front than I had planned, what size tires should I be able to fit without fender modifications?

I have 2" spacers in the rear, and 1.5" spacers in the front.  I run 235/75/R15 tires comfortably - I think I could fit 30" tires without any fender modification, and no major rubbing.  Anything larger, and you will need to install a body lift.

No body lift, only spacers. I'm thinking the 30 inch tire might be what I try. Are there any metric sized tires that are close to 30"?

235 75 15s are 28.5 inches, next step is a 30 inch, metric sizes, 245 or 265 might be close.
235s are a great match for the lift you have and stock gearing

Hey Kevin, we need to get out wheeling, I have a cracked front 3rd
but I have a replacement I'm having "beefed" with some gussets.

TDS is coming and I have some new goodies installed, the 4.24 low
t-case is sooooo friggin low, I can't do sand hills now, not enough wheel speed
