Wheel Spacers?
« on: October 30, 2009, 10:49:07 AM »
Hi, My 2" coil spacer and 2" body lift came in from low range, and i was going to run 31/10.50R15 tires. My Question is do I need wheel spacers? I have seen other people that say you need them, so i was going to either get 1 1/4" or 1 1/2 spacers. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Dillon

After 4 1/2" of lift and 33" skinny tires I didn't need wheel spacers. I did get some rims off an old bronco that makes the tires stand out a little wider which worked perfect for me.
SAS Tracker! No looking back now.

I would bolt the tires up and test before I bothered with spacers.  One of the issues you will run into with the spacers is having your tires rub on the back side of the fender well and having to trim the bottom of the bumper.  Depending on the tires you will also start rubbing on the top side of your fender on the rear when you flex it up.
