Came across a cracked head on my brothers 16V engine, it had been
over heated to the point of quitting too, this crack was in the coolant
jacket and leaked into the oil soaked area under the valve cover.
I said just have it welded up, but we found another head, from a 16V
TBI engine, with no cut out area for the MPI EFI injectors to go, so we
got out the air grinder and hogged out the aluminum to create the space
needed for the injectors to go, PITA but doable, good thing the head is
not cast iron, would of taken a very long time
